This program is designed to prepare athletes for a high level of racing. Athletes will train Monday through Friday in the morning with the goal of improving fitness and ability. The program's focus is racing in a variety of categories at USRowing Club Nationals (Cincinnati, 2017). Interested athletes should speak to their respective coaches about the expectations of the program and whether they are a good fit. Athletes will need to show maturity, responsibility and accountability as some workouts will be designated as "on your own." Athletes considering rowing in college would benefit from the exposure to new workouts, competitive racing and, for rising seniors, the college recruiting fair at Club Nationals.

(May 31st-June 22nd HP will run from 3:15-5:45)

High Performance

The Competitive Development Team is designed to help athletes improve on their fitness over the summer while learning to row a variety of smaller boats (singles, doubles, pairs,) and introduce and refine technique in sculling boats. Athletes will focus on competing at local regattas in multiple events. This program is highly encouraged for novice athletes looking to make the transition to varsity rowing. 

Dates: June 26th - July 31st

Days: Monday-Friday

Times: 9:30AM - 11:00AM

In June we offer our athletes the opportunity to work in a small group setting to get more experience in sculling and smaller boats. They work in smaller coach to athlete ratios to get more fundamental work. This is a great opportunity for athletes with other summer commitments who would like to get more rowing in once our middle school and high school programs end.

Dates: June 5th through June 22nd

Days: Monday through Thursday
Times: 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM
